The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. I'm not sure if a 22LR would have enough recoil to cycle the slide.I purchased the P365 TacPac this month (October 2020) and love the three 12 round clips and holster. ... I've had a Shield 9mm for about 3 years and a P365 for less than a month. The P365's felt recoil is less, the slide is much easier to rack, it's slightly smaller and lighter, has a better trigger than a stock Shield and it's more accurate in my hands at 7 yards. SIG had a bad run of them early in P365 production but that problem was licked a long time ago. The new striker will have a stronger, beveled tip on it and should last you many thousands of rounds.At least for me the Kahr ergonomics are just a little off, while the 9mm P365 is very good. So I think a Sig .45 just enough larger than the P365 to accommodate the larger round would be pretty good. Sig seems to like 1911 pattern for .45 though. He currently owns two, one with a born date in mid March and one with a born date in mid May. He has thoroughly examined both guns and has observed some interesting changes in the May gun. . No clean break like I'm used to. I have 226 is, 229 to 210, 220, 320s none of them have a trigger like that.The +P runs about 50-70 fps faster than the standard pressure round in those guns, and I would expect about the same increase over the standard pressure round in the P365.
